It appears the Wolfman does not have much to fear from #bedbugs. According to this BBC bed bug article, people with more body hair have a higher level of protection from bedbugs than those with less hair. The hairs apparently act as a defense system and an early warning system to the body when the nerves are activated. It appears this may have been an adaptation of our ancestors to protect themselves from bed bugs. However, the hair was not or is not a body of armor. Bed bugs can still bite you and will always find a way to have their next meal. So next time your wife tells you to shave or cut your hair, tell hair you are protecting yourself from bedbugs.
